Hello, Thank you posting your query in Microsoft Community. You can pin Google to Task bar by simply dragging the Google tab from the browser to the Task Bar. Follow the steps to do so: 1. Open Internet Explorer. In the search tab, type Google.com. Now open Google.com.
Now click and hold the tab and drag it to the task bar and then release the Mouse button. You can see the Google webpage is pinned in your taskbar. For reference see the screen shot of the tab you need to drag once you are on google.com: Let us know if it helps.
We will be glad to assist you further. I want the Calendar icon on the taskbar that I've had in previous versions. I did find a method online (now can't find the webpage): 1. Open Chrome, go to Apps menu (checkerboard near your picture, under shortcuts bar) and right-click Google Calendar; select 'open link in new window;' 2. Find menu icon in upper right (three horizontal lines), thence 'more tools;' 3.
Click 'add to desktop;' 4. Go to Desktop, find Calendar shortcut (blue square icon with a big white number), and pin or drag it onto the taskbar.
